Christchurch in Belfast, the library of the Royal Belfast Academical Institution, was the unusual setting for the 4Fashion Show in aid of the local Pretty 'n' Pink breast cancer charity.

Connor Kerr, creative director of the show, said: "I am delighted with how well it has gone. We had fabulous fashions and a great team working behind the scenes so hopefully we have pulled it together this year.

"The venue was amazing. We were not sure what it was and we heard it was the library at Inst. It certainly was something different."

Connor said he was delighted to have Pretty 'n' Pink as the charity to benefit from all the proceeds.

"It is a great charity and a great cause and it is local and doesn't have the massive running costs that some other charities have.

"I also think Noleen (Adair - Pretty 'n' Pink's founder and direcetor) is a very inspiring woman."

Noleen said the charity had now raised over £150,000 for breast cancer sufferers and their families in NI since being set up four years ago.

"It never ceases to amaze me how generous people are. There are a number of things we can spend the money on next year such as educational fees, financial help for families, maybe the ultimate break away - just things that can help people get through a terrible time in their life," she added.
