Appeal for £93,000 Lotto winner

A prize from a winning Lotto ticket bought in Newtownabbey is yet to be claimed

A Lotto prize of almost £100,000 is yet to be claimed in Northern Ireland.

The winning ticket was bought in Newtownabbey on April 17 and is worth £92,991.

If nobody comes forward with the numbers - 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 and 33 plus a bonus ball of 35 - by October the money goes to charity.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings - this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody's life.

"We're urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa - someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune.

"We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."

To jog Lotto players' memories, Need U (100%) by Duke Dumont featuring A*M*E topped the UK singles chart at the time of the draw, while Paramore were top of the album chart with their album of the same name.
