Thousands of people attended the annual Gay Pride parade in Belfast city centre.

Now in its 24th year, the Belfast parade is claimed to be the largest of its kind on the island of Ireland.

The parade will left Custom House Square and make its way through the city centre.

Thousands of people joined in the fun of the 24th annual Gay Pride parade in Belfast today.

The city's parade, which kicked off at noon at Custom House Square, is billed as biggest gay gathering in Ireland.

The event is part of the Belfast Pride festival.
