The Belfast Telegraph's website has been nominated in the media industry's ‘Oscars' alongside the Guardian and the Financial Times.

The 2014 Newspaper Awards recognise the best in print and digital news media production and innovation, and both the newspaper and its website have received nominations.

  • ft.com/fastft
  • guardian.co.uk
  • ibtimes.co.uk
  • independent.co.uk
  • thelincolnite.co.uk
  • worldcrunch.com

The print edition of the Belfast Telegraph is nominated for Regional Newspaper of the Year (over 25,000 circulation) alongside:

  • Eastern Daily Press
  • Hull Daily Mail
  • The Irish News
  • The News (Portsmouth)
  • The Press and Journal
  • Western Morning News

The awards ceremony takes place on April 1 in London.
