A woman has been fined £150 and ordered to pay £250 compensation after her dog attacked and injured a man.
Ethel Larmour, from Cuba Walk in east Belfast, was also ordered to pay costs of £72 in relation to the incident which happened on February 22, 2011.
The judge also issued a confinement order meaning the dog must be muzzled and kept on a lead at all times when in public.
The prosecution was brought by Belfast City Council.
Meanwhile a north Belfast woman was fined £30 for allowing her dog to stray. Margaret Lawlor, from Antrim Close, was also ordered to pay costs of £66.
