A bomb discovered in the roof of a house was a Second World War mortar.
The device was found in a house in Belmont Park in east Belfast on Sunday, and the area was cordoned off while Army experts examined the find.
The explosives specialists later confirmed it was a bomb dating from the war period.
Police said the military experts successfully removed the item without incident.
