A Londonderry doorman is to square up to pals in the boxing ring to fight for the charity which helped his young son cope with cancer.
Olympians Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlan will be in town to cheer as Anthony Chen and 15 of his friends battle it out at the match marathon this weekend.
There are eight fights on the bill at the city’s Delacroix Inn this Friday.
Anthony organised the tournament to raise funds for NI Cancer Fund for Children — he says the charity was a “lifeline” when his 13-year-old son D’Andre was diagnosed with leukaemia last September.
Many of those donning the gloves will be colleagues from Sandinos bar and nightclub.
They are currently being put through their paces by coaches from the Ring Amateur Boxing Club.
Tickets are £8 each and can be purchased from A McLean Bookmakers, but are selling fast.
