Three children were in the house as their mother was sexually assaulted, police have said.
A baby of seven months, a three-year-old and a two-year-old were present when two masked men got into the house at Drumbeg South, Craigavon, on Thursday night.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after the ordeal.
Nationalist SDLP councillor Joe Nelson said there was a real sense of shock following the attack. Another rape happened in nearby Lurgan recently.
"Once again there is a real sense of shock in the area. My thoughts are with the victim of this sinister and evil act," he said.
"Indeed, the trauma experienced by her children will be difficult to overcome.
"It's hard to put in words what would drive people to commit such a depraved crime. Any right-thinking person would condemn this."
The first man is described as being 6ft 6ins tall, of thin build with large brown eyes. He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt and trousers or jeans.
The second man is described as being 5ft 10ins tall, of stout build and spoke with a local accent. He wore dark-coloured clothing and a balaclava pulled down over his face with eye holes cut out.
Anybody with information is asked to contact police.
