A Co Down woman has become a millionaire without ever touching a ticket - winning £1.1 million in the National Lottery.

The mystery winner, known only as Miss S, was one of four jackpot winners in the Lotto draw on Saturday, April 26 and banked a life-changing £1,124,068.

She was playing online, where over six million players win each week on the National Lottery’s range of games.

A spokesperson said: “Huge congratulations to Miss S for winning this fantastic prize without even touching a ticket. After a few simple clicks she has won the jackpot and become a millionaire."

Winners can choose to to release their name, remain anonymous or like Miss S, release some details through partial publicity.
