A gang of up to four men — thought to be armed with hammers and a gun — have robbed a young couple at their home in Dunmurry.
The men entered the house at Chestnut Park on Wednesday at 9pm demanding money.
They made off with a mobile phone and a sum of cash. The occupants were not injured as a result of their ordeal.
The men are believed to have made off in a silver saloon car.
One of the intruders is described as being in his 50s, approximately 5ft 6in in height, with balding grey hair and is believed to have been armed with a hammer. Another man is described as being in his early 30s, of medium to heavy build and is also believed to have been armed with a hammer.
A third man is described as being of heavy build and is thought to have been carrying a firearm.
