Prosecutors are to confirm next month whether they will press ahead with a case against an American actor accused of a sexual assault in Belfast.
A judge has requested a full update on how they plan to deal with allegations involving 31-year-old Major Dodge.
The New York actor and model has been charged over an alleged assault on a woman in Belfast city centre in May.
Dodge, who has appeared in hit US television series such as Sex And The City and Law & Order, is on continuing bail of £1,000.
He was excused from attending Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday as progress in the case was disclosed.
A Public Prosecution Service representative said most of the paperwork has been submitted to the department, with issues around forensics resolved.
He said a police statement regarding the events of Dodge's arrest was still outstanding.
