Community workers from unionist and nationalist areas are to take on a joint tour of Ireland ahead of a raft of historical commemorations.
The Poppies and Lillies residential tour will involve up to 50 community workers and volunteers from the north west.
It will explore how key events in British and Irish history have shaped how local people commemorate and reflect on issues.
The diverse group will visit sites associated with the First World War, the Easter Rising of 1916 and the Battle of the Boyne.
Visits will include sites in Dublin, the Boyne Heritage Centre, The Somme Heritage Centre and Schomberg House.
A three-day residential has now been developed between several local councils and is aimed at promoting good relations.
It is being offered free and will take place from September 17 to 19, with overnight stays in Dublin and Belfast.
The deadline for submitting applications is August 24.
