The migraion of families from Donegal to areas of Londonderry will be discussed at the Gasyard Centre in Derry this Monday at 3pm.
The free talk will be delivered by Derry City Council genealogist Brian Mitchell.
Mickey Cooper, heritage and tourism co-ordinator at the Gasyard, said: “Participants will learn how many of the family names in Derry today, such as Doherty and McLaughlin, have their origins in Inishowen and other parts of Donegal.”
