Hi °C | Lo °C A driver has escaped an attempted hijacking in the Broadway area of west Belfast.
A vehicle was approached by a blue Ford Transit van driving on the wrong side of the road shortly before 2.20pm yesterday.
Two people got out of the van and tried to open the door.
The driver was able to reverse and drive off towards the Boucher Road area.
Police are keen to speak to the drivers of a silver VW Passat and a grey VW people carrier seen in the area at the time.
