Driver who died in Magherafelt livestock lorry crash is named

The 35-year-old from Fivemiletown  was driving a lorry carrying livestock when he crashed on the Mayogall Road.

The lorry driver who died after he crashed in Magherafelt on Thursday morning has been named as Glen Patrick Campbell.

The 35-year-old from the Fivemiletown area was driving an articulated lorry carrying livestock when he crashed on the Mayogall Road.

The Mayogall Road was shut for most of the day while police investigated the scene and recovered the vehicle.

The road has now reopened.

Witnesses are urged to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 0845 600 8000.
