Duo are held on suspicion of robbery

Police investigating a series of incidents in Antrim have arrested a 21-year-old man. Officers were called to Railway Street on Wednesday.

A man was detained on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, theft, criminal damage and attempted robbery. A 16-year-old girl was also arrested in connection with the robbery.

The two suspects are being held in police custody and will be questioned by detectives.
