Elderly brothers in robbery ordeal

Two elderly brothers have been left traumatised after their Co Down home was robbed by a gang.

One of the four men involved brandished a knife after they entered the house on the Ballycreen Road in Ballynahinch at around 11.10pm on Saturday.

One of the brothers was bound with cable ties during the terrifying incident and sustained cuts to his face.

Police said the men were left “extremely traumatised”. Both brothers were treated in hospital after the robbery.
