Elderly couple escape injury after car crashes onto Portstewart rocks

An elderly couple have escaped serious injury after their car left the road and crashed onto rocks in Portstewart.

Their silver Toyota crashed earlier this afternoon.

It's understood both were shaken and taken to the nearby Causeway Hospital for treatment.

They were later discharged.
