Fisherman dies following sea fall

A man was rescued by Bundoran RNLI after being swept out to sea off Donegal but later died

A man has died after being swept out to sea off Donegal.

The Polish national was fishing with a friend from rocks at Bundoran when he fell in.

He was rescued by Bundoran RNLI and rushed to Sligo General Hospital, where he later died.

The man, who is believed to be aged in his late 40s, was living in the Enniskillen area.
