A girl aged seven has been treated for smoke inhalation following a petrol bomb attack on her home in Lisburn.

The device was placed at the front of a house in the Colinvale area early on Sunday morning. Smoke damage was caused to the front door.

A woman and the child were in the house. The child was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene, however she did not require hospital treatment, police said. The woman was uninjured.

Detectives would like to speak to a man who got into a taxi shortly after this incident and also any taxi driver in the Colinvale area around this time, as they may be able to help them with their inquiries.
