A family home that has been subjected to a series of sectarian attacks in Newtownards has been targeted by arsonists again.
Accelerant was poured through the letter box of the semi-detached house in Lenamore Park and ignited around 7.20pm.
Police said a woman who was in the property at the time was able to extinguish the fire, which only caused minor damage. She escaped injury.
Just over a week ago the property was set alight in similar fashion.
A 38-year-old mother and her three young children were rescued from that blaze.
Prior to the arson incidents, sectarian graffiti was daubed on the walls and windows of the house on successive weekends.
Police are treating the latest incident as a hate crime and have appealed to witnesses to come forward.
