Thousands of people attended the annual Gay Pride parade in Belfast city centre.

Now in its 23rd year, the Belfast parade is claimed to be the largest of its kind on the island of Ireland.

As the Party in the Square got underway at Custom House Square- headlining the free event was Spanish singer Ruth Lorenzo, previously an X Factor finalist in 2008.
