A jury will be asked to consider their verdict today in a sacked Northern Ireland Water director's libel action against Sinn Fein.
Mr Justice Gillen is due to finish summing up before sending out the five men and one woman who will decide Declan Gormley's defamation claim. The businessman was dismissed along with three other non-executive directors from NI Water in March 2010.
Conor Murphy, the former Sinn Fein Minister for Regional Development, removed them from the board following an independent review team investigation into the awarding of contracts.
Mr Gormley emphatically denies any wrongdoing and issued libel proceedings against Sinn Fein over the contents of two Press releases.
Lawyers for Sinn Fein contended, however, that neither statement contained any defamatory content.
