Knife-wielding burglar steals jewellery from Lisburn home

A man armed with a knife has robbed jewellery from a house in Lisburn.

The aggravated burglary happened at a house in the the Marna Brae Park area of Lisburn shortly after 3pm on Friday.

As the owner of the property returned home he heard his house alarm sounding.

After calling out he then discovered a man armed with a knife.

The robber then ran towards the Belsize Road.

A quantity of jewellery was stolen from the house.

Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
