Two Northern Ireland people are a total of £5m richer — but they don’t know it yet.
Unclaimed lottery tickets — worth £4m and £1m respectively — were bought in different parts of Northern Ireland over the summer.
A lucky flutter on the EuroMillions draw on Friday, August 3, has landed someone £1m. The winning ticket was bought in the Fermanagh-South Tyrone area. A spokesman for Camelot said: “The winning selection on August 3 was GCR760097.” The ticket-holder has until January 30, 2013, to claim their prize.
A Lotto ticket worth a staggering £4.3m also remains unclaimed — nearly three months after it was bought in Co Down for the June 2 draw.
The person who bought the ticket scooped £4,392,003. The winning numbers are 16, 18, 20, 25, 29, 34, and the bonus ball is 15. The deadline for claiming the prize is November 29.
