A cannabis factory worth an estimated £15,000 has been raided by police in Belfast.
Officers swooped on a house in Donegall Street, seized cannabis plants and arrested a 40-year-old man.
Police Service of Northern Ireland Inspector Robert Murdie said drugs were a major problem for communities.
"Drugs are clearly an issue of concern to local communities and officers have been working closely with residents in south Belfast to tackle the issue of drug supply and distribution," he said.
He also appealed for landlords to check their properties to ensure they were not being used by criminal elements.
Mr Murdie added: "Where properties are being used to grow cannabis plants, often the electricity supply has been tampered with and this presents a risk to adjacent properties.
"Landlords and property owners are encouraged to make regular checks of their property."
