A man has been arrested in relation to the murders of two Catholic workmen in Belfast 20 years ago

A 42-year-old man has been arrested in relation to the murders of two Catholic workmen in Belfast 20 years ago.

The suspect was arrested in north Belfast on Monday morning on suspicion of the two murders, the attempted murder of a another man and membership of the UVF.

Gary Convie (24) and Eamon Fox (44) were shot dead after a gunman opened fire on them as they sat in their car at a building site in North Queen Street on May, 17 1994.

One man has already been convicted in connection with the killings.
