A man who died in a house fire in Co Tyrone has been named as David Major.
Police were told about the blaze in Cooke Crescent, Cookstown, shortly before 1.50pm on Saturday.
A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokeswoman said officers were not treating it as suspicious but a post-mortem on the victim, 59, would be carried out.
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service station commander Alan Martin said his crews were met with an intense fire.
"Breathing apparatus was put on and fire crews were committed and quickly got the fire under control," he said.
"Unfortunately there was one male fatality."
