Man wearing pink pillowcase over his head robs Belfast off-licence

A man wielding a baseball bat and wearing a pink pillowcase over his head as a disguise has robbed an off-licence in Belfast.

Police are now trying to hunt down the armed robber who entered the shop in the Cromac Street area of Belfast yesterday evening.

At around 5.30pm the man - carrying a baseball bat - demanded money from staff.

He then made off on a red coloured bike with cash and alcohol.

There were no injuries reported.

The pink pillowcase-wearing robber has been described as aged in his mid 20s, of average build, approximately 5'8" tall.

He was wearing a bright fluorescent green hooded top Adidas top, charcoal jogging bottoms and dark trainers.
