Murder probe police arrest man

Police investigating a murder in East Belfast have arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of perverting the course of justice

Detectives investigating the murder of a man in East Belfast have arrested a suspect on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

Stanley McAuley, 41, was found unconscious in Chamberlain Street on April 14.

Police have detained a man aged 48. He is also suspected of withholding information and assisting offenders.
