Police excavating a back garden in Northern Ireland after an anonymous tip-off that a baby's body was buried there have concluded that the information was false.
Specialist sniffer dogs helped officers as they searched under the patio area of the property in Ballyclare, Co Antrim.
The operation at the rear of the terraced house on Hawthorn Way began on Tuesday.
It is understood the incident was not linked to the current tenants of the building. The unknown caller claimed the infant's body had been there for some time.
A PSNI spokesman said: "The search at Hawthorn Way, Ballyclare, has now finished and the scene is now over.
"Police are satisfied that no human remains were present at the location and the information provided was false. Police will investigate whether the information provided was with malicious intent."
