The work of Northern Ireland's top photographers has been recognised at the Professional Photograpers Association of Northern Ireland Awards.

The ceremony was held at The Galgorm Manor Hotel, Ballymena.

The Awards are the most prestigious in Northern Ireland; the Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland celebrates and identifies individuals that have achieved outstanding success through their superb images and gives every qualified member the opportunity to compete against other members for the title of PPANI Photographer of the Year.

The awards give professional photographers the opportunity to benchmark their work and development against a recognized framework. Winning an award also demonstrates commitment to continual personal development and provides great PR opportunities.

The Awards are open to fully qualified members of the Association. There were 8 different sections to cover all types of professional photography and this year we reintroduce the Licentiate Award which honored one of our new members work.
