A pensioner has died in a house fire, emergency services say.
The alarm was raised at about 6.35am on Saturday morning when the blaze was spotted in the home on Bridge Street in Downpatrick, Co Down.
A woman in her 70s died in the fire.
A police spokeswoman said the cause of the blaze is not being treated as suspicious at this stage.
Detectives are treating the death of a 20-month-old girl as murder and have named her mother as a suspect.
