Police carry out pipe bomb probe

Police are investigating a pipe bomb which was found in Londonderry.

A controlled explosion has been carried out on a pipe bomb in Londonderry.

The device was discovered on the Braehead Road. Police removed it for further examination.

The area has since been reopened to traffic.
