Four officers were injured when a speeding car being pursued by police was involved in a crash with two PSNI vehicles.
Three men have been arrested following the incident in Belfast early on Thursday.
The pursuit started when a Volkswagen Golf failed to stop for officers on the M1 motorway on the outskirts of the city.
Police said the car continued on to the city's Westlink, travelling at up to 100mph.
A trained police driver followed in pursuit.
The wanted car exited the Westlink at Divis Street where it collided with the two police vehicles.
None of the four officers hurt in the collision sustained serious injuries.
The three arrested men, all in their 20s, are being questioned on suspicion of burglary and motoring offences.
