Detectives are treating a hit and run in Northern Ireland as attempted murder.
They have appealed for the public to help them find the driver who struck a 36-year-old man in Coalisland, Co Tyrone, yesterday morning.
The victim, who was knocked down on Gortgonis Road at around 1.3am, was seriously injured.
Police said they are trying to track a silver Vauxhall Corsa with the registration plate NHZ 6376. A PSNI spokeswoman said the car would have obvious damage.
