Royal acclaim for RUC volunteers

Volunteers who help run the RUC's George Cross Foundation have been recognised with an award from the Queen.

Some 57 people have received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service for their help in running the foundation's Police Memorial Garden at the PSNI headquarters in east Belfast, acting as gardeners as well as tour guides.
