A second man has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death of a woman in Londonderry.
Detectives from the PSNI serious crime branch, who are investigating the death of mother-of-two Paula Carlin in Strathfoyle, are now holding a second 21-year-old man.
Police said that he was arrested on Tuesday night in the Derry area.
A PSNI spokeswoman said yesterday: “Another 21-year-old man arrested in connection with this investigation remains in custody. Inquiries are ongoing at this time.”
The body of Ms Carlin, who was in her 40s, was found at her Clonmeen Drive address in the Waterside estate early on Tuesday morning.
The exact circumstances surrounding her death were yesterday still unclear and a post-mortem examination to establish the cause was due to take place later.
Meanwhile, forensic officers in boilersuits returned to the house yesterday morning and were seen taking photographs.
