Three arrested over shop raid

Three men have been arrested by detectives investigating an armed robbery at a shop in north Belfast.

Police have appealed for help after the commercial premises on the Ballysillan Road was targetted at around 7pm on Monday.

Three men entered the business, one armed with a knife, before threatening a staff member and then making off with a sum of money.

The PSNI said no-one was injured during the incident. One of the men was wearing a black jacket, blue hooded top and blue scarf. Another was wearing a black track suit and one was wearing a grey and black top and baseball cap.

Three men, aged 28, 30 and 35, have been arrested and are assisting police with their inquiries.
