Three people are said to be in a serious condition in hospital after a road crash in Co Armagh.

The two car smash happened on the Derrytrasna Road near Lurgan at around 4.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.

It involved a black Volkswagen Polo and a black Mitsubishi Shogun.

Three people - two men aged 61 and 71 and a 68-year-old woman - were taken to hospital for treatment for serious injuries.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
