Police are investigating whether early morning arson attacks on three cars are linked.
The three vehicles – a white Mercedes van, a blue Vauxhall Meriva and a blue Ford Ka – were set alight between 6.55am and 7.30am on Saturday within a short distance of each other in Antrim.
All are being treated as arson.
Paul Madden spoke of his family's anguish after his van – used to take his 23-year-old son to education classes and work training – was among those targeted.
"He was standing there in tears trembling, looking down at the car. We eventually had to take him away from the window," he told the BBC.
A White Mini One car was set on fire in Antrim's Top of the Town area in a separate attack shortly before 3am on Saturday. Police have appealed for information.
