Hi °C | Lo °C Detectives in Ards have charged a man with a number of offences, including possession of drugs and ammunition after the theft of a television.
The police were alerted |after a householder in the Cairndore area returned home last Thursday to discover her television had been stolen.
Following door-to-door inquiries, a follow-up search was carried out in a nearby street and a TV recovered.
A 21-year-old man was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with burglary, possession of a class B drug and possession of prohibited ammunition.
The man is expected to appear at Ards Magistrates Court on November 8.
The charges are subject to review by the Public Prosecution Service.
