Twenty birds of prey missing after vandals attack sanctuary

Twenty birds of prey including owls are missing after vandals broke them out of their cages at a Co Antrim sanctuary.

Police have said a number of birds were 'maliciously' released from cages at the World of Owls in Randalstown.

A number of cages were damaged during the incident which happened between Monday night and the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Six birds have since been captured while 20 remain missing.

Police are appealing for information.
