A young father whose house was shot at twice in recent weeks says he won't be driven out of Northern Ireland by loyalists.

Jordan Spence (21) said he has been told his life is under threat from UDA members.

He said individuals from the terror group were behind the gun attack on his north Belfast home on Sunday, the second such attack in recent weeks, during which time he was also stabbed.

Police confirmed they are investigating the attack on the property in the Silverstream Road area, which happened at around 8pm.

Mr Spence said he was been warned of dozens of death threats against him. He claimed the UDA is targeting him due to his friendships with deposed members of the group in north Belfast, including former so-called 'brigadier' Andre Shoukri.

He said he's been warned he will be shot if he doesn't leave Northern Ireland.

"I won't be moving," Mr Spence said. "There's no chance of that."

He said that due to the threat he has been unable to have regular contact with his two-year-old child.

Previous attacks on Mr Spence were claimed by the Red Hand Defenders, a cover name for the UDA.
