Edgar Graham.

Tributes have been paid to murdered Ulster Unionist Edgar Graham at two separate events.

Mr Graham (29) was shot dead by the IRA at Queen's University Belfast 30 years ago.

No-one has ever been convicted of the killing which took place at University Square.

Two former students were later given suspended sentences for withholding information.

The UUP's youth wing -- the Young Unionists -- held a memorial to its ex-chairman at Parliament Buildings on Saturday.

Former Ulster Unionist MLA Dermot Nesbitt laid a floral wreath at the inscription in Mr Graham's memory in the Rotunda outside the Assembly Chamber.

UUP leader Mike Nesbitt said the IRA denied Mr Graham the chance to fulfil his potential.
