Fresh trouble erupted in Lurgan last night for the third night running.
A van was hijacked and burnt out in the Drumbeg district yesterday evening prompting police to warn motorists to avoid the area.
There was also a security alert close to the railway line late last night.
Three vehicles were torched during trouble in the town on Thursday while a number of cars were set alight during violence on Wednesday. The trouble erupted after a visit by Justice Minister David Ford to the town on Wednesday morning.
Upper Bann Assemblywoman Dolores Kelly said local people are tired of the continuing violence.
The SDLP member said: “I think everyone is weary. With the holidays everyone is looking forward to a few days of peace and quiet. People are also angry because it damages the image of the area especially in these times.”
