Part of the M1 motorway and the Westlink in Belfast have been reopened after the discovery of a device thought to be a pipe bomb at the city's Broadway roundabout was declared a hoax.

Army bomb experts had attended the scene.

The M1 had been closed from Stockmans Lane to Broadway roundabout, causing major traffic disruption in the area.
