A 29-year-old woman has been arrested after a pedestrian was killed during a road crash in Co Armagh.

The 58-year-old man died following a crash involving one car on the Newtown Road in Belleek at around 5.30pm on Friday evening.

The driver of the car has since been arrested on suspicion of a number of road traffic offences and is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.

The Newtown Road remains closed between the Outlecken Road and Carrickrovaddy Road.

Police have appealed for any witnesses or those travelling in the area at the time, to contact them.
