Woman held at knifepoint during robbery in south Belfast

A woman has been held at knifepoint during a robbery at an estate agents.

A thief went into the business on the Ormeau Road in Belfast at around 5pm on Friday.

He grabbed a female member of staff by the wrist and took her into a room at the rear of the building, where she was held briefly.

The man later fled, taking some personal items with him.

The woman was not hurt but was left very badly shaken.

Anyone who has any more information has been asked to call the PSNI at Musgrave on 0845 600 8000.
