OAP’s life savings stolen

An elderly woman has had her life savings stolen after she was targeted by a bogus caller.

A man in his 60s called at the house at Windsor Gardens, Ballymoney, on Monday at about 5.30pm.

He asked the woman to check her savings but when she returned with her money he took it and left. It is understood thousands of pounds were stolen.
